Project Overview
The customer had an 40+ year old Cleaver-Brooks Firetube boiler that was at the end of its useful life. After meeting with the installing contractor and the owner, it was decided that high efficiency boilers were the preferred solution.

Solution & Results
The challenge then became the ability to fit the equipment in the allowable space. Luckily, the Cleaver-Brooks ClearFire Boilers are able to be installed 3″ apart. DJ Conley recommened a modular approach with an N+1 design layout. Three (3) CFC 3300 MBH units were a very tight but exact fit in the space allocated for the boilers. Having the installing contractor on the ground floor in the decision making process was a huge plus in executing this project.
