Waste Heat

The Cleaver-Brooks waste heat watertube boilers are offered in a single pass design or multiple pass design including furnace / radiant sections. Up to 150,000 lb/hr of steam flow, they reduce fuel and  energy expenses, as well as greenhouse gas emissions.



The Ultramizer® is the latest advancement in high efficiency boiler heat recovery equipment, allowing existing and new boilers to benefit from this patented latent heat and water recovery technology, with 95% boiler system efficiency possible.


Economizers (Condensing, On Demand & Heavy Duty)

An economizer is a unit that captures heat from the stack, and then returns it to a water system. To determine if a boiler economizer is right for your facility, look at your annual boiler fuel bill and subtract 5 to 10% of the cost. If this is a significant number to you, then you should consider adding an economizer. The payback will have a direct impact on your bottom line.



Feed Water Heaters

Feedwater Heaters are most often used on steam boilers, but easily adaptable to many other heat sources. We can also extract heat from any clean exhaust stream and water streams that are unrelated to the heat source, such as combined heat and power systems, or even melting snow and ice.




Vent Condensers

The vent condenser is a plume abatement device. Vented steam is directed into the unit where it is cooled and condensed by cold plant water. Energy is continuously recovered at a rate of 970 BTU’s for every pound of steam contained in the plume. It is recovered in two forms, hotter water and clean distilled condensate ready for productive use elsewhere in your operation.




Steam Accumulator

A steam accumulator is a pressure vessel (or tank) with internals and controls, that can reduce the fuel consumption, maintenance costs and increase the service life of your boiler by stabilizing the steam draw conditions.




Custom Heat Exchanger

Cannon Boiler Works designs, manufactures, engineers, re-engineers, repairs, modifies, re-certifies, all types of heat exchangers. All work occurs in our western Pennsylvania plant.

You can choose from Shell & Tube, Finned Tube Sections, Air Cooled Exchangers and Condensers for steam and process gasses.
